Healing Developmental Trauma · Seven Days in Poland
Join us in Poland for seven days of discovering the unconscious mind-body patterns known as Character Structures. Explore how early experiences shape your body, emotions, and relationships through a deeply loving exploration of your childhood and practical approaches to healing and personal growth.
1️⃣ Understand Childhood Patterns
Explore the five core stages of early development, from conception to age six, and discover how unmet needs shape the body and mind.
2️⃣ Soften the Armour
Reconnect with the language of your body through touch, movement, and somatic practices that help release tension and restore the flow of life-force energy.
3️⃣ Support Healing & Connection
Explore ways to support the nervous system safely, work with boundaries and shame, and release layers of fight, flight, and freeze impulses.
The Map of Character Structures
Rooted in the work of Wilhelm Reich and developed further by Alexander Lowen, this map describes five main Character Structures. Most of us carry traits of two or three, with one usually dominant—the pattern we formed to help us navigate the challenges of childhood.
Each structure has its own pattern of physical tension, emotional profile, and way of relating to others. Each can also be traced back to wounding at a particular stage of childhood development.
How Early Experiences Shape Us
When a child’s core needs for safety, trust, healthy boundaries, individuality, and emotionally attuned connection go unmet, these experiences can become embedded in the body and nervous system. An “armour” forms that shapes how we feel, behave, and relate—often below conscious awareness.
In this experiential group, we’ll explore which needs were met and which were not, what we learned about connection and self-worth, and how these early patterns still shape our daily lives.

Who This Training Is For
This training is for anyone who works with people: therapists, bodyworkers, BBTRS practitioners, coaches, and healthcare providers. You’ll leave with skills you can use with your clients straight away.
It’s equally for anyone who wants to meet the deepest, most unconscious layers of their own personality. Many participants come for both reasons—and it’s the personal work that makes the professional skills real.
